Mark Deiter at Sunset Bay Park

Mark Deiter was 56 years old when he was drowned in Lake Ontario at Sunset Bay Park in the Town of Scriba. According to the reports, three men went for fishing in Lake Ontario when their boat began taking on water.

Two fishermen jumped off the boat but Mark remain on the boat until the boat completely went inside the water. The other fishermen with the help of floating devices were successful in saving their lives.

They were rescued by other fishermen in the area but the body of Mark was found after 2 days about 100 feet of water.
