Matthew Ramirez at Warren Dunes State Park

Matthew Ramirez a child just 4 years old drowned in Lake Michigan at Warren Dunes State Park. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department and medics responded to a call that a possible drowning has happened in Warren Dunes park and a child was in very critical condition.

Some people found the child unresponsive and floating in the water so they pulled him out and performed CPR until the medics arrived. He was immediately taken to Lakeland Hospital and then flown to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. But he died on 5th August due to severe injuries.
