Michael Shawnoo was 36 years old when he lost his life in Lake Huron after his canoe was capsized. The incident happens at Ipperwash Beach on Wednesday Morning.

According to the Police report, they received the call around 11 am that a canoe was capsized resulting two people in the water.

The Canadian Coast guards with US Coast guards reached to the scene and pulled those people from the water.

They were taken to hospital where one of them pronounced dead.
