Mustafa Ahmadi at Lake Ontario

Mustafa Ahmadi was 26 years old when he drowned in Lake Ontario. According to his brother Mohd. Ahmadi the sad incident happens when Mustafa along with his cousin Asim and Mohd itself were enjoying the evening canoeing trip near Audley Rd. in Ajax on Aug. 5. Mohd was on the beach with his friends chatting when around 10 pm he saw his cousin Asim is running towards him scared and shivering. Asim told Mustafa that their canoe was capsized due to high waves. Asim leaves Mustafa behind who was a weak swimmer and swims to the shore to get help.  Mustafa body was recovered on August 25.
