Nichole McWatters at Beachfront Park

Nichole McWatters was 33 years old when she was drowned in Lake Ontario near Beachfront Park while trying to save her kid. His child who was only 6 years old was on a flotation device when a strong wind blew him away from the shore.

Nichole in trying to save her son jumped after him. The bystander brings the child to the shore safely but another bystander found Nichole face down in the water.

She was pulled unresponsive to the shore.

The emergency responders take her to the local hospital but later pronounced her dead.
