Niharika Yogesh Maniar at Lake Michigan

Niharika Yogesh Maniar was 69 years old when she was drowned in Lake Michigan near Lincoln Park on the North Side. Chicago police were called to the scene when a person was reported in distress at about 1: 36 pm near Fullerton Avenue Beach in the 2100 block of North Lake Shore Drive. Niharika was recovered from the lake and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in a very critical condition where she was pronounced dead.
