Oribi Kontein at DuSable Lake Shore Drive

Oribi Kontein was only 26 years old when his body was found a week later after he went missing on October 26. Oribi’s body was found on November 4 floating in Lake Michigan near 31st Street Beach. On seeing surveillance cameras it was noted that Oribi parked his 2016 Toyota Corolla near 31st Street Beach and went across DuSable Lake Shore Drive. His best friend, Tena Guwor said that Oribi often goes to Beach for meditation or a swim. Oribi was originally from Nigeria and attended DePaul University with a degree in criminology. The cause of his death is unknown and the results are pending.
