Paris Bankhead at Beach Park, IL

Paris Bankhead was only 20 years old when he was drowned Friday Night at Zion’s Illinois State Beach Park. On that day, Paris Bankhead visit the Lake Michigan with his family where he decided to go for swimming with another individual. The pair was swimming back to the shore when the family noticed that Bankhead was in distress and in water about 15 feet deep. They immediately call to the rescue. Bankhead body was recovered around 7:35pm. The rescue divers reported that Bankhead was about 20 feet away from the shore when submerged by the water.
