Patrick Kelly at Pleasant Prairie

Patrick Kelly was 72 years old when he drowned while scuba diving to explore a shipwreck in Lake Michigan, Pleasant Prairie.

According to the report, around 11:30 a.m., the coast guards received a notification from a vessel that a scuba diver had gone inside the water but had not resurfaced.

The US Coast Guards, Pleasant Prairie police, and the Fire Department initiated the rescue mission but called off around 4:40 pm due to weather conditions.

Around 10:15 am the next day, Wednesday, the body of Patrick was recovered.

His friends remembered him as an experienced scuba diver.
