Pavan Kristipati & Kamal Kristipati at Scarborough’s Bluffer’s Park Beach

Pavan & Kamal were two brothers who were drowned in Lake Ontario near Scarborough’s Bluffer’s Park Beach while trying to save a 10 year old child. They were at the beach with their family to celebrate Indian independence day when they heard the cries of help at around 7:30 pm. The 23 years old Kamal went to save the child with several other people but he himself caught in the undertow current. To save him, his older brother Pavan went after him but they both were caught in the current and drowned. The body of Kamal was found at that time but the body of Pavan was found after some days.
