Pedro Martinez at Muskegon's Norman Kruse Park

Pedro Martinez was 32 years old when he was drowned on Friday at Muskegon’s Norman Kruse Park. According to Police, they received a call at 6:27 pm when a witness saw the man 75 to 100 yards offshore waving his hands before disappearing from sight. Rescue workers found Pedro unresponsive in the water before they brought him to shore and start performing CPR. He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
