Rahul Makhija at Bruce Peninsula National Park

Rahul Makhija was just 23 years old when he was drowned in Lake Huron near Bruce Peninsula National Park, at the Grotto. Grotto was a popular Tourist spot and most boys jump from the cliff into the water. The police received the call at around 4:15 pm that a person was in distress inside the water. Before the emergency crews arrived at the scene, some bystanders and general people bring him out of the water and performed CPR but he was declared deceased by 5:05 pm by paramedic staff.
