Ramiro Calixto at North Avenue Beach

Ramiro Calixto was 26 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan at North Avenue. He was walking along the Lakefront when pulled in the water at about 5:40 am. The Chicago Fire Department was called to the scene at about 6 am. and found Calixto around 7:30 am. He was taken to  Northwestern Hospital in a very critical condition where he was pronounced dead.
