Rasheed Mariano at Waukegan Harbor

Rasheed Mariano was a Waukegan High School student when he died on Monday after he jumped into Waukegan Harbor from near the Waukegan Yacht Club. He was just 17 years old when he was drowned. His body was located in approximately 18 feet of water and about 10 feet north of the Yacht Club pier. He was immediately transmitted to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, where he was pronounced dead.
