Ray Emery, a 35-year-old goaltender of the NHL, whose career spanned more than a decade was drowned in Lake Ontario near Hamilton Harbour on Sunday. According to the inspector, Marty Schulenberg Emery’s death does not appear to be suspicious and it’s a case of misadventure.
Emery jumped into the water from the boat and his friends called the rescue crew just 6 am in the morning when he didn’t resurface. His body was found at about 2:30 pm Sunday just 20 meters away from the place where he jumped.
