Robert J. Iatarola at Michigan City lighthouse

The body of Robert J. Iatarola was found offshore from the Michigan City Lighthouse. Robert went there to celebrate the 4th of July with his friends and family when he decided to stay longer. He last contacted his family on 9th July. An autopsy was done and it is known that the cause of his death was drowning and also he died 3 to 4 days earlier when his body was found. There are wounds on his body and police were investigating how this all happened.
