Sarah Goenne at Lake Michigan

Sarah Goenne, a wheelchair-bound woman fell into lake Michigan and died. According to reports, Sarah was 61 years old when she went to the lake with her male friend. The man was pushing her wheelchair when he stumbled and both of them fell into the lake at DuSable Harbor. When police arrived at the scene, the man was clinging to the part of the dock and yelling for help. The police marine unit comes to the rescue. The police pulled the woman from the lake and the fire department brings the man to the shore. When Goenne was recovered from the water she has no pulse. Later she was pronounced dead.
