The Durham regional police have received the call around 1:25 pm that a body of a woman was found in Lake Ontario near Birchcliffe Avenue. She was pulled out of water unresponsive without any vital signs. In a Tweet, the police said that she was pronounced dead at the hospital. An investigation was going on.
