Thomas Walker at North Beach, RACINE, WI

Thomas Walker was 40 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan near the North Beach in Racine County. He was drowned while trying to save his two young cousins who were struggling in the water.

The rescue workers were called to the scene at around 3:04 pm when Walker did not emerge from the water after saving the two kids. The South Shore Fire department and other rescue departments started looking for him and they were able to locate him after an hour.

He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
