Tomasz Gladkowski at Lake Huron

Tomasz Gladkowski was 39 years old when he was drowned in Lake Huron while trying to save his 7-year-old son. Tomasz was with his son and a group of friends at the main beach in Port Albert, Ont., on Sunday. According to the police, Gladkowski ran into the water to save his son who was struggling with a powerful undertow. His son was able to make it back to the shore but Tomasz was reported missing at 3:30 pm. The Canadian coast guards started the rescued mission and found Gladkowski body about 150 meters from the shoreline.
