Tyson Koehn at Cedar Island

The 41 years old Tyson Koehn was drowned in Lake Erie near Cedar Island while trying to save his son. Authorities were alerted around 4:45 pm that a boater was in distress and slip under the surface. According to the reports, Tyson was on the boat with his four children when his son went in the water to swim but began to struggle.

Tyson went after him to save him but he also started to struggle. The four children were saved by a passerby’s vessel and also a man swam from the shore. An extensive search was done to find Tyson’s body.

He was found in the water a short time later. Paramedics performed CPR and take him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
