Walter Santos was 43 years old when he was drowned in the rough waters of Lake Erie. He was enjoying the weekend with his family when the sad incident happened. Walter was swimming with his two sons on Sunday afternoon when he suddenly disappears into the waters off the main beach at Long Point Provincial Park in Norfolk County. Joshua and John swam back to the shore but when they turn around they found that their father was disappeared. The man on the beach seen Walter struggling to keep his head above the water and several other people tried to help him but the current was too strong. His body was found on Monday at about 9:30 am about six kilometers east of where he went under.
