William Paul Alex at North East Township

William Paul Alex was 62 years old when he was drowned in Lake Erie while swimming. His body was found floating at 2:30 pm on Sunday. According to the reports, Alex was attending the family function when he enters the lake for swimming about 150 yards off the shore. He soon started to struggle and couldn’t make it back to the shore.
