The body of a 20-year-old unknown man was recovered from the 10400 block of Cliff Drive.
The Cleveland Division of Fire firefighters were called to the scene at about 3 pm to make recovery efforts.
His body was recovered along the shoreline between Cliff Drive and Lake Erie.
The investigators are looking into his death.
Omar Boz, a 14-year-old kid, drowned in Lake Erie while swimming.
According to the report, Omar was enjoying with his brother and father at Port Stanley when both brothers started to struggle.
Their dad desperately attempted to bring both of them out of the water, but he also seemed to be in distress.
At 2:30 pm, lifeguards took the father and Omar’s elder brother out of the water but couldn’t find Omar anywhere.
Multiple agencies, including Central Elgin lifeguards, an OPP helicopter, and a marine unit, went into the water to search for the missing teen.
They could not locate the boy because of the dangerous water conditions.
His body was finally recovered after 2 days.
Anthony “Ace” Lenix Jr., a kid just 11 years old, drowned in Lake Erie while swimming.
According to the report, the boy was swimming in the restricted area of Euclid Beach when he went underwater.
The rescue teams, Cleveland Metroparks Police, and divers from Cleveland Fire Rescue Squad 1 were called to the scene, and they took the boy out of the water.
He was then taken to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The boy was recognized as a “little hero” because he went into the water to save a young girl who was struggling at the time.
An autopsy was scheduled to find the exact cause of the drowning.
In a tragic accident, two men died in Lake Erie after their boat capsized near Perry, Ohio.
The incident happened on July 6, when a 23-foot vessel carrying 4 people was capsized.
A “mayday” call was made around 10:30 am to the Coast Guard station in Buffalo, New York.
A Helicopter crew from the Detroit Coast Guard began to search, and also the crew from the Cleveland Harbor Coast.
Around 2 p.m., the Cleveland Harbor Coast found the overturned boat and found 3 people in the water.
They saved one man and one woman, but the other man was found unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The search for the other man continued for days, as his body was found on July 10.
An investigation was going on into how the boat was capsized, and the names of the deceased men were not released by the police.

The man entered the lake around 7 pm for swimming but started to struggle and then went underwater.
He was 32 years old.
The man drowned on Sunday night, and the rescue teams started to search for him.
Multiple agencies assisted in the search on Monday as well to locate the man’s body.
An eyewitness located him later on and informed the authorities.
No other information was released by the police.
